Each year the Master Gardeners in Grays Harbor and Pacific Counties host tours of private gardens in our local area. The private gardens selected for the tour are carefully chosen and their owners are notified at least one year in advance of being on the tour so that they can adequately prepare their gardens for display to the public. Master Gardener representatives in the twin counties are constantly scouting out possibilities in their surrounding areas. The gardens chosen for the tour are usually in the same general area so that the public can conveniently visit all of the gardens in a single day. Garden Tour 2011 will take place July 23st, in the Aberdeen/Central Park area. (Click Here)
The Garden Tour is a great way for Master Gardeners to get involved in our community as we are always making contacts to reserve future gardens. While doing this, we are meeting new gardeners and showing them the benefits of the Master Gardener Programs offered through WSU. Master Gardeners are at each of the gardens on the tour to act as guides and to answer your questions.
